SETUP 1. I started with this after I succeeded in taking a nice photo of the Orion Nebula with my Sony A7S photo camera and the 200-600mm zoom.
Mount: Celestron CGX-L. I sold it because of incompatibilities with the ASIAIR, after gear repair and installation of a high quality timing belt.
Telescope: Celestron RASA 11 (sold to a RASA lover in Austria).
Camera: ZWO ASI1600MM PRO with the modified ZWO EFW mini filter wheel and Baader high-speed narrowband filters.
My control to date: ASIAIR PRO and Apple iPad PRO, from the bedroom wirelessly.
SETUP 2. After struggling for half a year to heave the CGX-L onto the balcony with the RASA11, I wanted something much lighter.
.
Mount: iOptron CEM25EC.
Power supply: I installed 48 Samsung LiIon batteries and an adjustable power supply in the home brewn counterweight.
Telescopes: good 30 years old fast Canon FD optics from my old glass collection. Canon FD200mm f1.8L and Canon FD300mm f2.8L. Unfortunately have some spherical aberration open aperture.
Camera: ZWO ASI1600MM PRO with the modified ZWO EFW mini filter wheel and Baader high-speed narrowband filters.
Autofocus: I converted these old Canon lenses to autofocus with a self-made toothed belt drive (ZWO EAF).
SETUP 3. This was my mobile setup. Much lighter than the RASA, and much better than the photo lenses on the CEM25. Sold now.
.
Mount: Avalon Uno - the mount that needs no meridian flip and no counterweights. On a Berlebach Planet wooden tripod.
Telescope: Sharpstar 20032PNT
Power supply: I installed 84 Samsung LiIon cells in this plastic box - that's 1kWh of power, enough for 4 winter nights (here after one night).
On-board computer: ASIAIR PRO and ASIAIR PLUS
SETUP 4. Das ist die stationäre Ausrüstung in meiner Sternwarte.
SETUP 4. This is the stationary equipment in my observatory.
.
Reflector telescope: Planewave CDK17
Refractor Telescope: CFF185 - now changed against a RASA36 Reflector.
Mount: 10Micron 3000HPS
